The first CVIO worldwide will take place in the wonderful scenery of the Prater park, on the former imperial hunting grounds. Close to the city centre, practically next to the amusement park “Wurschtlprater” and in the middle of the popular recreation area of the Viennese.

Thanks to the Soccer European Championships 2008 we can enjoy the new extension of the underground exactly to the date of our event. With the U2 you are within minutes in the centre of Vienna.

Vienna offers a wide range of attractions, culinary highlights and a historical imperial atmosphere for our International Vaulting Competition which has become one of the fixed dates in the vaulting scene over the years.

In order to make sure your stay in Vienna at the CVIO Wien-Freudenau, book your accommodation as early as possible. The 2 nd district of Vienna around the Prater Park provides many inexpensive hotels. With the underground lines you can easily and quickly reach Prater from other parts of Vienna, too.
